VELDHOVEN CONTRACTING, TWO CONTRACTING NAMES TOGETHER
Machinaal Loonbedrijf Van Veldhoven and Marel Contracting announced July 21, 2022 that the Veldhoven Group has acquired Marel Contracting. The acquisition enables the group to further optimize services. This combines the strengths of two successful family businesses from the Westland town of De Lier with decades of experience in flexible and innovative contract work for (greenhouse) horticulture. With this takeover, Marel Contracting secures the future of the company and Van Veldhoven creates more capacity. Veldhoven Contracting, two contracting names together!
The new organisation will operate under the name Veldhoven Contracting and will be managed by Marcel van Veldhoven, Dennis van Veldhoven, Robbin van Veldhoven, Dick van Dijk and Sito Berkhout. Veldhoven Contracting is located in the modern premises at Burgerdijkseweg 10, 2678 NZ in De Lier and specializes in horticulture. Its activities include: chalking and coating of greenhouses, complete crop rotations, cleaning greenhouse decks inside and outside, disinfecting, water purification, soil tillage, excavation work and whitening of roofs of business premises via dakwitten.nl.
Veldhoven Contracting has a clear vision for the future in which it wants to support horticultural entrepreneurs even better. Marcel van Veldhoven: “With the merger of these two experienced contracting companies, we have more capacity to respond even better to the wishes of horticultural companies. The basic principle remains that we want to position ourselves as a strong and all-round service provider in contract work in which quality and flexibility are key. Marel Contracting was looking for continuity for the future and we want to present ourselves even more as a full-service provider in the market. Together we have skilled people, additional machinery and a modern business location.”
